Quotes: 1 and 2 Ralph Waldo Emerson from "Self-Reliance"
1. (A man is relieved and gay when he has put his heart into his work and done his best; but when he has said or done otherwise shall give him no peace.) This quote is very true and can be related to quite easly. When a person has to get a job done and they do it right away they feel acomplished and happy that theyve done the job and done it well and that there labour will be rewarded in the days to come. If a person puts the job off then it keep luming over there heads and they'll never feel completly at peace knowing theres more work to be done.
2. (These are the voices we hear in solitude, but they grow faint and inaubidle as we enter into the world.) This talks about when a person is alone they start to think aboiut how society is created and how it all works and all the flaws with it. They also think about what they believe in and what sets them apart. As soon as they return to society though these thoughts deminish and they join all the other people to engroused in what there doing to just take a step back and think and become ones self.

Quotes: 3 and 4 Nature from "Nature"
3.(If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore; and preserve for many generations the rememberance of the city of God which had been shown.) If the stars only happened everyonce in a while it would be a monumentious event a dazaling display on which preachers and men of god would use as proof of the existance of heaven. We would all stay up at night and just watch them not knowing what to say, just staring in wonder and amazement. By the stars being an everynight thing we do not think to much about them and there not spoken of that much. If they where once in a thousand years then it would be a bigger and more phantastic festivle than anything recorded in the history of the human race.
4.(To speak truley, few adult persons can see nature.) This tells us that as adults we do not have the time to enjoy the simpelar things in life that we did when we where kids. All those summers where time was endless a child often thought and got intune with nature. Once that child grows up though and starts to deal with the corperate world there is no time for these things and he just becomes another pond on the chest board of a majour company.
